OUR ADVENTURE BEGAN HERE
In 2019 Steamroller Animation released an 8 min short film to widespread critical acclaim. Developed primarily as a proof of concept, the short would go on to win 35 awards in the short film circuit that year. With the film’s success, the studio decided to ramp up development for a pilot episode.
OUR JOURNEY CONTINUES
In 2025 we released the first episode of a new mini-series set in the Spice Frontier universe called Cooking With Kentucky. Nearly three centuries after Earth (and all its glorious foods) were reduced to ash; chef Kentucky Williams dares to recreate a meal from the ancient land of France: Chicken Cordon Bleu.

A ship crashed nearby, and some lovely space explorers came knocking on our doors at Youtooz, looking for help fixing their ship and for some spice. We don't know anything about space travel, but we do know how to make an adorable plush, so we turned Ada Olyan into a Youtooz plush!
She is seated at 9 inches tall with her legs kicked forward, wearing brown shoes. She is dressed in a red twin-tailed coat, with short sleeves over black shorts, which helps her teal skin to pop.
Brown straps wrap around her chest, holding her backpack tight against her spine. A subtle smile can be seen on her face under large brown eyes and framed by deeper teal colouring on her head under two antennae.
This plush is packed to the seams with 100% PP cotton and is made of the softest minky material, perfect for cuddling or collecting spice with!

ABOUT THE CREATOR

Jalil Sadool has more than 20 years experience working in the film industry as a professional animator.
After graduating from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2004, he began his animation career at Rhythm and Hues Studios working on The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
In 2006, Jalil joined Weta Digital Ltd in New Zealand, where he spent five years as Senior Animator on The Water Horse, Prince Caspian, and James Cameron's Avatar. In 2009, he was Sequence Lead Animator on Matt Reeves' Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
Jalil moved from VFX to Feature Animation in 2011, joining DreamWorks Animation as Lead Animator on Rise of the Guardians and How to Train Your Dragon 2.
He co-founded Steamroller Animation in 2014 and currently serves as its Chief Creative Officer.
